It is Halloween

We started the day with David making breakfast for everyone. We all had to share one piece of bacon.... It was awfully yummy though!
Andy and Wendy escaped for a quick anniversary lunch. David played a concert for Grandma and Grandpa Joe:
David was very interested in the new comforter:
After dinner, we got David cleaned up and in costume. He was a giraffe this year:
and Andy was his zoo keeper:
Just like in Good Night Gorilla, our giraffe had a baby giraffe with him:
David's tail was very cute:

Time to Carve the Pumpkin!

Grandpa Joe and Grandma drove down on Friday. We had a low key dinner and carved our pumpkin into David's first jack-o-lantern.
We used the shapes from David's shape sorter, and let David pick the shape for each feature on the jack-o-lantern.
We picked one shade at time, carving each feature the best Andy could:

This was our final product; oval eye, pie shaped eye, a trapezoid nose, and a BIG mouth...

Afterward, David worked on his car with the Wendy and Grandma:

We finished breakfast early this morning, and David only put up a small fight taking his medicine and brushing his teeth, so he had time to play before heading out this morning. David decided to play carpenter:

Play!

David wanted to Play! this weekend. Nothing new about that; David's two favorite activities are eating and playing...

Wendy was on call so we a lot of "Boy Time" this weekend. We played Hot Wheels, Lincoln Logs and Blocks. We built with blocks:

We went to ele bakery for donuts. David really enjoyed his donut holes:
"Daddy want a bite?"

"Don't touch my donut."
"All gone!"

David goes to the Dentist

David went to the Dentist for the first time today. He visited our neighbor, Jody Wright, DDS, at her office in our neighborhood, Wright Smiles.

He did great. He let them brush his teeth and do the fluoride treatment while he watched Cars. He was even excited to show Dr. Jody his teeth.

A Weekend with Gram and Papa Don

Gram and Papa Don came to visit this past weekend. We went to the Fall Festival at Possum Creek Metropark.
