Time to Play

Wendy had to work, so Andy and David went off to the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery. We started off in the dance room, which is like a flashback to 1970's PBS Electric Company.
Dance David, dance:
We played with a lock-and-dam:
We slid down the small and large slides:
and played in rain machine:
David enjoyed the light table:
We played with construction sticks:
David spent time driving and cleaning the truck:
We made our way out to the tree house. David watched the birds and squirls:
David made me be judge of his trial:
and then he put me in jail:
After the museum, we went to OPI to have lunch with Wendy. We had a pretty nice "Boys Day."

Wendy went straight from work to the gym, so it was another boys' night. We had running hugs, a puzzle marathon, breakfast for dinner (strawberry jelly all over everything and everybody), a bath and a concert:

It's Snowing!

Well, it finally snowed. After a long day of play at Jamie's, David was ready to help shovel (aka play in the) snow:

"Where does our yard end?"
Working hard; look at that tongue sticking out... that is called concentration:
After working hard outside, David did not want to come inside. He really screamed and pulled, and pulled at the door knob. We finally calmed him down with a nice, warm cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows. Yum!

We were happy to be invaded by friends for New Years. Mandy, Cris and Jackie were diverted, but Brian, Jenette, Garrick and Elizabeth made it in safely. It was great to spend time catching up, and of course, playing.... A game anyone? Yes, many.
