We started the day off hanging at Grandpa Ron's. It is always cooler on the swing under the maple tree:
Then we played for a little bit at Gram & Papa Don's:
We then ventured over to St. Louis with Gram and Papa Don to the Magic House. David got to be a super hero and learn about recycling:
and growing your own vegetables:
and saving energy by riding a bicycle:
and hybrid cars:
and how algae can be used as an alternative fuel:
Then we learned how worms move through dirt:
It was off to the pretend area where David did lots of fun stuff. We played in the kitchen:
and worked on a car (muffler and tire replacement):
Then we served ice cream:
and climbed into a tree house with a garden hose telephone:
and fished a little:
Gram made sure we went over to have a "hair raising" experience:
We had to hit the bubble room before we headed off:
On the way back to Collinsville, we decided to stop by Ted Drewes for some frozen custard. it was yummy!
