Grandpa Ron and Andy picked David up from Jamie's early, just after lunch. We took the bicycles to the Little Miami Scenic Trail for a "short" ride. We started off with a quick lunch. David had to check to see what was in the cooler:
Then we loaded up and were off:
After about 30 minutes we stopped for a break. David found a new friend, a brown caterpillar:
We helped him get safely off the path, and everyone was once again on their way:
We returned to our starting point for a treat; ice cream from the Corwin Peddler:
We headed off to the community pool to cool off and wait for Wendy to get home from work.It was a fun afternoon! So fun in fact that David crashed at 6:30, before dinner, and didn't wake up until 2 AM. And even then, it was just a quick "re-tuck" and he was back to sleep until 6:30 AM when he proudly announced that it was "Morning Time."
